Mr. Shink joined Minneapolis Portfolio Management Group, LLC in 2004 as the firm’s Institutional Director. His primary responsibilities include developing, expanding, and strengthening national client relationships.

Prior to joining MPMG, Tony held the position of Financial Consultant at Smith Barney where he worked with high-net-worth individuals, foundations, and endowments. He started his career, as one of the youngest hires at Shearson Lehman Brothers in their commodity division. He specialized in hedging strategies (mitigating market risk) for large family, cooperatives, and corporate agricultural firms.

Mr. Shink served on the Advisory Council of the Children’s Hospital and Clinics, Minnesota as well as their Foundation task force. Tony attempts to maintain a balanced lifestyle, that includes fitness, staying active in his community through his family’s non-profit work and being present with his wife and children when he is home.

Mr. Shink holds an M.B.A. from the University of St. Thomas and received a B.S. degree in Applied Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He also holds and completed post graduate certification programs through American College of Financial Services and Yale school of management.
