After Minneapolis Portfolio Management Group was established in 1995, Harrison served as Senior Portfolio Manager for Minneapolis Portfolio Management Group at Wachovia Securities. Prior to that, he was an Assistant Account Manager in the institutional trust department of Firstar Bank of Minnesota. Harrison is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Madison with a B.A. in International Relations / Global Economics and Political Science.
He holds the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) and is a member of the Twin Cities Society of Security Analysts. Harrison has served on the Board of Directors for several organizations in the Twin Cities. As a previous board member for the Minneapolis Jewish Community Center (JCC), he aided in their mission of bringing the community together in an inclusive Jewish environment. In 2005 Harrison became a board member for The Center of the American Experiment, a free-market think tank, which focuses on improving education, strengthening the economy, and reducing poverty and crime in Minnesota.
Harrison and his wife have 2 kids and dog named Coqui who reflects their love of animals and Puerto Rico. In their free time, when not chauffeuring their children around town, Harrison and his wife enjoy a range of activities, including golf, tennis, pickleball, nature walks, and exploring the diverse culinary scene by visiting new and lesser-known restaurants.
