2024 - Zack Kass

With artificial intelligence (AI) being such a dominant theme in the markets, hearing from a veteran of the business like Zack Kass was perfect for the times. He formerly served with OpenAI, the company that brought ChatGPT to the world, for 14 years, most recently as the head of Go-To-Market for OpenAI. In this role he was responsible for building OpenAI’s sales, partnerships, and solutions teams. Mr. Kass is considered one of the foremost thinkers in Applied AI, and he advises many top companies on the subject including Coca-Cola, Morgan Stanley, Agmen, Boeing, and even the White House.

Mr. Kass believes that, led by AI advancements, we’re on the verge of the most profound industrial revolution in human history. “We’re much earlier and much farther along than you realize,” says Kass. He notes that while other innovations in history, such as the discovery of electricity, took centuries to propagate into ubiquitous use, artificial general intelligence (AGI) will propagate almost immediately. The next level of AI is AGI, according to Mr. Kass. It represents a point when human intellectual intelligence will be found in machines.  Hosting Zack Kass at our 2024 Speaker Series Event was an invaluable experience.
